THY WORD
IS LIGHTseries
A DAY TO REMEMBER
"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have
right to the tree of life,"-- Revelation 22:14
"I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy
commandments."-- Psalm 119:60
"This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with
their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me,
teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Matthew 15:9.
The
excuse given by today's lukewarm church for
the counterfeit sabbath, day of the 'sun' cult worship,
is that the resurrection was on the first day;
however it could just as easily be remembered at the Passover once a year
(instead of the pagan
easter), fitting in with God's calendar and his feasts.
"To
the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is
because there is no light in them." -- Isaiah 8:20
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” -- 1 Thessalonians 5: 21.

A
QUESTION ?
Elijah’s
question in 1 King’s 18:21 would still apply today.
“ How long halt
ye between two opinions ? If the Lord be God, follow him : but if Baal
[man
made pagan religious traditions of
the day/commandments of men],
then follow him .”
The
response is hard to believe, but then maybe not.. “And the people answered him
not a word”.
Instead of making a stand for righteousness; they remained silent.
The traditional religious status quo of disobedience; like today; was
acceptable.
You have a choice to make.
May you declare as Joshua,
(Joshua24:15)
“but as for me and
my house we will serve the Lord”.
