Give Me Thy Heart

Our spiritual destiny must be our first priority in life. A student of the Scriptures quickly finds that our Creator first wants our heart before he can bless.

In the beginning, when our Creator Ahaiah made Adam and could visit and talk with him; Ahaiah had Adam’s heart.
"...All things were created by Him and for Him" Colossians 1: 16

"Thou art worthy, Ahaiah, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created". Revelation 4:11

When the Commands of Yehovah were disobeyed in the Garden of Eden; sin invaded Adam’s heart , taking the place of Ahaiah.

Ahaiah called then to Adam, and has called  ever since to all mankind with His Everlasting Gospel, to turn from sin and be converted.

"Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee."  Psalm 51:13

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of Alohim” Romans3: 23

"There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 3: 10

"Fear Alohim and keep His commandments : for this is the whole duty of man.” Ecclesiates 12: 13

"
SEEK Ye First the Kingdom of Alohim and His righteousness.” Matthew 6: 33

THE FATHER'S SEARCH

"Alohim so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but hath everlasting life." John 3:16
Ahaiah is keen to attract the worshipful trust and obedience of a true believer. He is not looking at our knowledge of His Word. He is searching for something else.
He wants our heart.

But Ahaiah said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature;… for Ahaiah seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but Ahaiah looketh on the heart. 1Samuel:16:7

I, Ahaiah search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah.17: 10

But, Ahaiah of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart…Jer:11:20 The Psalmist wrote: “Examine me, Ahaiah, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.” Psalm 26:2

Search me, O Alohim, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23,24

Ahaiah searches and tests 'the reins' in order to bless and work through those who yearn to know and obey Him. The phrase 'reins and the heart' is a Biblical term for the for your innermost inclinations, desires and will - the real you! The Creator is taking the measure of everyone's will. He is not concerned with what we possess, or even with what we say, but with our wills; with what we secretly want to do!

For the eyes of Ahaiah run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

II Chronicles16: 9

And though He has commanded that we love and serve Him with all our heart (with the total strength of our innermost beings), He still seeks our permission before taking over the reins of our hearts.

Our Creator wants us to hand our lives - our wills - over to Him!

Satan is also battling for the control of the human will and mind; and everyone has the choice of who wins; either the Ruach ha Qodesh or the spirit of Satan.

THE SAVIOUR’S SEARCH
Ahaiah's only begotten Son Ahaiahshua is also searching and testing the reins and hearts of men and women. And, like his Father, the Saviour also rewards according to our works.

…all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins [the innermost mind] and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. Rev. 2:23

Reins are used to direct animals . Without reins a rider has virtually no power over the horse he is riding or the team he is driving. Reins can give total control. Reins are lines of communication between man and animal. Likewise humans are also controlled by reins - the human will. Your will controls your actions. When you hand over the reins of your heart to the Almighty, you are, in fact, handing over your will to Him. He then has total control of the real you! And that is what He seeks - total control - albeit only with your permission. When you have totally surrendered your will (reins) to Ahaiah, to do His will; your thoughts, words, actions and understanding; including understanding Scriptural doctrines; are motivated by the Spirit of Ahaiah. That is what the Saviour meant when he said:…My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of Alohim, or whether I speak of myself. John 7:16,17

True to His high regard for personal freedom, the Almighty will never take over the reins of your heart without your consent. You must release them freely. That is why He requests your permission and invites you to accept Him as the Saviour that He is.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith Ahaiah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of hath spoken it. Isaiah 1:18-20

Consider the true steps to blessing:

The Requirement

Thou shalt love Ahaiah thy Alohim with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy might. Deuteronomy 6:5

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. Psalm 119:2

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of Alohim: Not of works, lest any man should boast “Ephesians 2: 8

Grace has been the means of salvation since Adam’s sin. Obedience has never been the means of salvation, although it has always been an identifying mark of the those who, in faith, have accepted salvation. The gospel then is the same today; the "Everlasting Good News."

The Request

My son give me thine heart. Prov. 23:26

The Result

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of Ahaiah; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The wicked are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the wicked shall perish. Psalm1:1- 6

When the Creator finds a heart that is receptive to His Spirit and one that is willing to be controlled (reined) by Him, He blesses that person with His Presence (His Spirit, the Ruach ha Qodesh). No greater blessing is possible to the sons and daughters of men - than aHaiah's Presence. And no better qualification can be found than to have it said: “aHaiah is with them“.

A true believer:

Hands over the reins of their heart to the Almighty's control; having realized their sin (breaking of Ahaiah‘s Covenant), and repenting of it. This is true conversion.

Next a true believer learns Ahaiah's will, by studying His whole Word.

Next they obey the Almighty's will.

The result; the Alohim of Israel will imprint His Commandments, which are His written transcript of His own character, on the true believers’ mind.

Behold, the days come, saith Ahaiah, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith Ahaiah. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Ahaiah; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a Alohim, and they shall be to me a people. Hebrews 8: 8-10

If you haven’t already done so, pray and give Alohim your heart.

Create in me a clean heart, O Alohim; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51: 10

"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." II Corinthians 6: 2

    GIVE ME THY HEART*

    "Give Me thy heart,” says the Father above—
    No gift so precious to Him as our love;
    Softly He whispers wherever thou art,
    “Gratefully trust Me and give Me thy heart.”

    “Give Me thy heart,” says the Saviour of men,
    Calling in mercy again and again;
    “Trust in Me only, I’ll never depart—
    Have I not died for thee? Give Me thy heart.”

    “Give Me thy heart,” says the Spirit divine;
    “All that thou hast to My keeping resign;
    Grace more abounding is Mine to impart—
    Make full surrender and give Me thy heart.”

    Refrain

    “Give Me thy heart, give me thy heart”
    Hear the soft whisper, wherever thou art;
    From this dark world He would draw thee apart,
    Speaking so tenderly, “Give Me thy heart.”
