Evidence of the Creator's Name

Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? Proverbs 30:4

And Moses said unto Alohim, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The Elohim of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And Alohim said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And Elohim said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, Yahweh Elohim of your fathers, the Alohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. Exodus 3:13-15

The name or title by which one refers to Deity has been a subject of interest to mankind from time immemorial. Who is the Creator of the universe, and what is his name? While various titles, including God, Lord, the Great King, the Almighty, and the like have been applied to the Creator, he must certainly have a personal name, a name which expresses his nature and being as names applied to individuals did in Hebrew culture.

A DISCOVERY:

Judas (Judah, Jehudah, Yehudah, Iehudah) the disciple who betrayed the Messiah, is archetypal of the Jews (Yehudim, Judah) who rejected their Kinsman Redeemer (the Lion of Judah), for it was necessary that He must shed His blood to redeem His bride (genuine Israel and all those grafted in).

Messiah knew exactly what He was doing when he picked this individual.

John 18:1-6 When יהושע [Yehoshua] had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.

And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.

Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

יהושע therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?

They answered him, יהושע of Nazareth. יהושע saith unto them, "I am" he [הָיָה hâyâh] (he is added in English).A nd Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.

As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he (he is added in English), they went backward, and fell to the ground.

"I am" [הָיָה hâyâh] likely the same word spoken to Moses (Exodus 3:14); that's why the group fell down. He could have wiped them out. But He didn't.

Most likely the most powerful, perfect word in the universe. Hidden from humanity for millenia. One day soon we will hear it. What a day that will be!

Rev 15:2-4 And I saw like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those overcoming the beast and his image and his mark and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of Alohim.

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of Alohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvellous are Your works, יהוה Al Shaddai! Righteous and true are Your ways, O King of saints!

“Who shall not fear You, O יהוה, and esteem Your Name? Because You alone are kind.

John 19:7-9 The Jews answered him [Pilate}, “We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, for He has made Himself the Son of Alohim.”

So when Pilate heard this word, he was more afraid, and went back into the palace, and asked יהושע, “Where are You from?” But יהושע gave him no answer.

Messiah's silence was His answer. He had to finish the arduous task He came for.
